At Oak Learners, children receive the opportunity of individualized learning. This involves incorporating the curriculum in each child’s learning while also supporting the IEP of the child. The teachers at Oak Learners ensure that they adapt each learning activity to best suit the needs and learning style of each individual child! A parent from Oak Learners mentioned that they see a significant improvement in their child’s skills since they have attended this private school. This parent also mentioned how easy it was to follow along and understand their child’s report card that they received from Oak Learners. It was easy to understand as the language that was used within was very reader appropriate and did not use any terms that were hard to understand the meaning behind them. The skills, gaps and achievements their child had made were clearly highlighted throughout the report card.  It also mentioned the strategies that were used along the way to get to the progress that they have made though out the year and how they will continue to keep making to enhance academic success! At Oak Learners the teachers prioritize building positive connections with all students along with help the students to make connections to the materials they are using while learning. It is mentioned that the teachers connect with the students by “their learning styles, interests and challenges”. This provides children with a learning environment that promotes their success at Oak Learners!
