School Leadership

Problems are always having the potential to rise to the surface, having a solution to that problem is always reassuring. With that being said the staff at Oak Learners make sure to address and solve problems that emerge always in a timely manner as well as in a suitable way. Imagine being given a solution that best fits your child’s individual needs, that is what Oak Learners provides to all of their students! Not only does Oak Learners provide the best solution for each child they also make sure that it is approached in a positive manner and that it is the absolute greatest way of solving that specific problem. The staff at Oak Learners prioritize having open-communication with the children’s parents at the end of each day. This allows parents to hear what their child accomplished throughout the day or even just to be informed about how their child’s day was. The staff like to notify parents if their child was hurt at all throughout the day along with what happened!

Melissa Shoesmith

Hello, my name is Melissa Shoesmith and I am currently in my fifth semester at Seneca College in the Bachelors of Child Development program. I am completing my field placement here at Oak Learners. Working with children is the most rewarding job in the world in my opinion. I love having the opportunity to watch children learn and grow. I always want to make a positive impact on a child's life!
