Our Fall programs kicked off this week and our new centre is full of life, love and music!

Children in our Day School began exploring Healthy Bodies and came up with some fantastic questions they wonder about our bodies. They also took a trip to Mimico Library and learned how to find books to help them answer their questions. Art and mindfulness exercises helped children ease back into the school routine and daily neighbourhood exploration walks brought us together as a community.

After-school music lessons began this week too! Budding musicians began classes in “Music Exploration”, where young children explored a variety of musical instruments, sound and beat. We were treated to children exploring the sound of drums, guitar, piano and percussion instruments. Our Mom & Tot Acorn Music classes filled our space with sing-a-longs and the happy sound of children’s laughter!

Our Junior Scientists Club began this week with a ‘bang’! Each week will see our Junior Scientists explore a new topic within science through hands-on experiments, books and videos. We can’t wait to see what they get up to!

With all of this fun going on, we also found time for academics. We began private tutoring and homework club this week for students in need of an extra hand, a mentor and an inspiring space to learn.  Our experienced teachers offer support to children from Kindergarten through Grade 12 in all areas of academics, including study skills, organization, project planning and regular homework.

Space is still available in most of our programs. Call 416-820-5233 to inquire.
