Dear Oak Learners Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I follow-up my previous communication with a new announcement that Oak Learners will be closed for in-person programming until further notice. This announcement follows the declaration of the Ontario Government of a “State of Emergency” in Ontario, which ordered the immediate closure of all indoor recreation programs, child care facilities and private schools.

Please be assured that as soon as we are able to re-open, we will! Oak Learners remains committed to providing unique and high quality educational and recreational programming for your children. Be assured that we also have a lot of plans to continue offering our unique programming through online options! These announcements and login information will follow in the coming days. Hopefully this incredibly concerning situation will pass quickly and we can all get back to our regular routines.

In the meantime, we wish nothing but the best for you and your family.

Best regards,

Kelly Farrell

Two students from Oak Learners have their artwork featured at this year’s Tis the Season Art Show at the Assembly Hall at Humber College. Featuring art created by students from local schools, the works in this exhibition speaks to the seasonal changes from autumn to winter, like snowfalls and long periods of darkness, and the cultural traditions they help shape. The exhibition is open from November 19 to December 18, 2024.
