Art Class (Ages 6+) – Oak Learners Class Showcase

Oak Learners is hosting an Art Class for ages 6 and up every Saturday from 12:45pm-1:30pm! If you’re looking for an art class for your child, look no further! Our art teachers are passionate, enthusiastic, and knowledgable. Oak Learners provides a safe environment for the kids and allow them to experience the satisfaction that comes from guided self-expression. The focus of our art classes is exploring artistic skills, exploring creativity, and so much more!

What Will My Child Be Doing?

Through art, we will doodle, paint, and create fun pieces in each class. Let’s unleash our creativity!

In this class, students will:
– Explore a variety of artistic mediums including Sketching, Painting, and sculpting
– Develop and refine artistic skills in a variety of styles and movements
– Develop an understanding of the principles of design
– Create artistic works using sensory inspiration, imagination, and inquiry
– Create artistic works that demonstrate personal and cultural contexts
– Communicate ideas and self-reflection through art-making

Suggested Materials:
Students may bring their own sketchbook if they have one.
All other materials will be provided by Oak Learners.

Scheduling:  Saturdays, 12:45 to 1:30pm (45min)

Fees: $9 per class, paid by sessions

You may enter classes in-between weeks, and book per week.

Winter Session C – January 8th – March 12th (10 weeks)

Spring Session D – March 26th – June 18th (11 weeks). No classes April 16 for Easter or May 28 for Victoria Day.
