“In today’s rush, we all think too much — seek too much — want too much — and forget about the joy of just being.” ~Eckhart Tolle

The human body functions at its peak when the mind and body work together to achieve calmness and synchronicity. That feeling you get when you listen to your favourite band takes you take you away to a happy place, matched only by the calmness of mind and flow created by mindfulness training through meditation.

Meditation involves slowing down long enough to acknowledge the variety of thoughts flowing through your mind at any given time to allow you to feel a calmness of mind. It is about learning how to listen, to reflect and to learn how to act with intention.

Why a Music & Mindfulness Workshop?

Our lives are busy, and children’s days are often filled with the hustle and bustle of school, camps, activities and family activities. Sometimes, this leads to a child experiencing anxiety, difficulties falling asleep or even problems at school. The Oak Learners Music & Mindfulness Workshop was created with your child in mind.

Oak Learner’s programs have been successful in helping children:

  1. Calm their anxiety and find their confidence
  2. Identify and unlearn fears.
  3. Increase their Intuition and focus

Our unique workshop combines music and mindfulness in a fun and unobtrusive way. The free, introductory workshop is designed for children aged 4-10 and will be held on 3 consecutive Thursdays in August. Reserve your spot ahead of time by calling 416-820-5233.

Dates:

August 11 (FULL)

August 18 (5 spots available)
