Oak Learners is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing creativity, confidence, and compassion in children through holistic, experiential education. Every program we offer is rooted in our mission to foster meaningful learning and build inclusive, supportive communities.
As a small but mighty organization, we rely on the generosity of donors and community partners to help us grow. Your support directly impacts the spaces and experiences we create for our learners — from upgrading our facilities to caring for our beloved classroom pets, and expanding our garden as a place of connection and inquiry.
🌱 This season, we’re seeking donations to support three key areas:
- Enhancing our indoor and outdoor learning spaces with accessible, child-friendly upgrades
- Expanding and maintaining our garden as a hands-on learning environment
- Supporting the care and enrichment of our classroom pets, who bring joy and emotional connection to our students

New Signs For Oak Learners

We’re raising $10,000 to cover the cost of new signage and frosted windows that reflect our values of creativity, connection, and care.s.
Support Our Classroom Pets!
At Oak Learners, we believe that classroom pets inspire care, kindness, and curiosity. From Cookie the bearded dragon to our cuddly critters and curious crawlers, these beloved companions help children learn empathy, responsibility, and connection.
We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of food, habitat supplies, and ongoing care for our classroom pets.
Grow With Us
At Oak Learners, our outdoor space and garden are more than just beautiful — they’re living classrooms. Each year, children plant herbs, vegetables, and flowers, learning firsthand about ecosystems, sustainability, and the joy of nurturing life.
Our garden also supports local butterflies and pollinators, creating a vibrant space for exploration and connection.
This season, we’re inviting our community to help us grow. We’re raising funds to purchase new items for the Spring.

- Upgrading our current technology for the students enjoyment and to move our Day School program into the 21st Century

The Learning Garden
Oak Learners is Growing a Greener Community!
We’re excited to continue our green initiative that supports both the Oak Learners and Mimico communities. Each year, we expand and enrich our garden — adding new plants, nurturing pollinator pathways, and creating vibrant spaces for children to learn, explore, and connect with nature.
This coming spring, we’re building on that momentum by enhancing city tree beds and introducing fresh planters around our campus. These additions will help create a more beautiful, sustainable, and welcoming neighborhood for everyone — learners, families, and passersby alike.
