Spotlight on our amazing music teacher, Adam!

Jul 22, 2023 | Music, Our Team, Programming

At Oak Learners, we are fortunate enough to have professional musicians on our team, and this time we are spotlighting our drum/percussion/piano teacher, Adam! When he is not touring or gigging around the city, Adam can be found teaching at both the RY and LS locations!

More about Adam:

Adam has been a member of the Oak Learners staff since 2021. Adam is a professional drummer/percussionist with a strong passion for music and teaching.

He has over 11 years of playing experience in multiple styles (Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latin etc.), in multiple venues & arenas across North American.

He holds a Bachelor of Music from Humber College & also a degree in Broadcasting & TV production!

Adam has been teaching music for over 8 years to people of all ages & skill levels.

Adam believes a great teacher is one who can not only assess a student’s current musical ability, but determine what style of learning the student thrives in. He is passionate about helping his students develop their individuality as artists.

Our lesson packages are flexible & work around parent/kid schedules.

We know September comes way too quickly, so book your spot or trial with Adam before it gets here!

A Magical Evening of Music and Theatre at Oak Learners

On June 5th, Oak Learners wrapped up the 2024–2025 school year with a spectacular outdoor concert at Amos Waites Park. Students from our Day School, B.A.S.E. (Before and After School Enrichment) program, and private music lessons took to the stage to share the music and theatre pieces they’ve been working so hard on all year.
