Personalized Private Tutoring and Academic Coaching
Effective learning assistance requires more than just tutoring. At Oak Learners, we offer a unique approach which blends mentoring, mindfulness and academic support to ensure the best possible outcome for your child.
Private Tutoring sessions individually scheduled and can last either 20, 30, 60, or 90 minutes in duration. Students are paired with an experienced teacher for academic and learning support. Many of our teachers have experience working with students with learning disabilities and other exceptionalities and provide programming based on the individual needs of the students.
Available for all students, Kindergarten through Grade 12, all subjects including Literacy, Reading, Writing, Math, French, Science, Homework Support, Study Skills.
Scheduling: Private Tutoring is booked in 60-min sessions, at a mutually convenient time. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you to schedule the session(s).
Fees: Sessions are purchased in bulk and pricing is based on the average session being 60 minutes. Tutoring credits will be added to a student’s account and deducted based on the actual length of the session. Bulk pricing is lower per session based on the number of sessions purchased. Purchasing in larger quantities is great when you want multiple sessions per week and know that you will continue with tutoring for several months.

How it Works
Once you have purchased Private online Tutoring Sessions, you will be asked to complete a “Student Questionaire”. This will help us understand more about your child so we can assign the best teacher to work with them. The assigned teacher will reach out to you within 24hrs to schedule a Meet & Great and the first session at mutually convenient times. Online teaching sessions use our unique online platform to track progress and schedule sessions. Teachers and students will use Zoom to connect for each session, allowing maximum interaction between the teacher and student.
