Changes at Oak Learners: A Note for Our Families
As we prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year, we want to share an important update to our middle school programming. First and foremost, we thank you for your continued trust and support. We remain committed to delivering the high-quality, personalized education you expect from Oak Learners.
One Community, One Campus
We have made the strategic decision to reunite all Oak Learners Micro School classes and enrichment programming together under one roof at the Royal York Campus. This is to better support our students and programs for the 2025-26 school year. All students currently registered for the Lake Shore Campus will be welcomed into classes at our Royal York Campus in September. This change allows us to strengthen our community and centralize resources while continuing to prioritize student well-being and academic success.
Our Teaching Team Remains Strong
We understand that a stable, familiar teaching environment is important for your child’s success. Our dedicated teaching team at the Royal York Campus remains consistent and committed. Returning elementary teachers Karen Stern (OCT), Meriam Rekkas (OCT), and Audrey Schatz (OCT) will continue to provide the exceptional learning experience. Their continuity ensures a seamless transition for all students.
A Farewell and a Thank You
Mishka Khilnani, a valued member of our community, is moving on to pursue new career opportunities. We are deeply grateful for her contributions to Oak Learners and wish her every success in the chapter ahead.
Looking Forward
We are incredibly excited about this next chapter and the opportunity to build an even stronger, more vibrant learning environment for your children. We look forward to a year of growth, shared success, and new possibilities ahead.
