Move and Groove at Summer Camp with Oak Learners

by | Jul 14, 2023 | Camps, Music, Outdoor Education, School Life

Week #2! Wow… time flies when you are having the BEST time ever! This week at the  Royal York campus, our theme was “Move & Groove” and we certainly did that! We moved and grooved all over Lakeshore/Mimico during our outdoor adventures, we made musical crafts, had amazing dance parties, sang, learned about rhythm & music and just had so much joy!

We don’t know about you guys, but we REALLY, really love the splash pad & waving pool.

Our crafts this week were exceptionally cool & musical!

Thank you to everyone for a wonderful week two of camp! See you all next week!

Two students from Oak Learners have their artwork featured at this year’s Tis the Season Art Show at the Assembly Hall at Humber College. Featuring art created by students from local schools, the works in this exhibition speaks to the seasonal changes from autumn to winter, like snowfalls and long periods of darkness, and the cultural traditions they help shape. The exhibition is open from November 19 to December 18, 2024.
