Oak Learners’ students visit the Ontario Science Center

Feb 24, 2024 | School Life

On February 21, 2024, the entire student body of Oak Learners shared a visit to the Ontario Science Center. Students from Kindergarten through Grade Eight were accompanied by teachers and several parent volunteers while they explored and experienced science in a whole new way!

Having just completed an inquiry-based unit on SPACE, students were fascinated by the Space Hall where they could ride a simulated rocket in a space chair and explore meteorites, black holes and cosmic rays!

Younger students were enthralled with the incredible hands-on opportunities in KidSpark, a learn-through-play space where the imagination is the limit!
