Crawford Lake Field Trip – Oct 2024

by | Oct 12, 2024 | Outdoor Education, School Life

🌟 Field trips are a valuable part of the educational journey at Oak Learners! 🚀 They spark curiosity and excitement, giving our students hands-on experiences that truly bring classroom lessons to life!

On October 2, 2024, students from Oak Learners’ Royal York and Lakeshore Campuses ventured to Crawford Lake Conservation Area, where they stepped back in time to explore a 15th-century Longhouse Village! 🏡 They learned about the daily lives of Indigenous people over 600 years ago, discovering their foods, agriculture, and even trying their crafts. What an unforgettable experience! 🌿❤️
