March Break is awesome at Oak Learners!

Each day of camp will feature a unique theme, with all activities connected to that day’s focus. Campers can expect a full schedule including morning mindfulness, hands-on STEM, Art, Drama, and Music sessions. In the afternoon, we head outdoors to nearby parks or nature trails for active games and engaging adventures to keep everyone moving and warm.

Camp Details

Hours: 9:00am–4:00pm daily

Timings: Please note the following to ensure a smooth running of each day.

  • Day camps run from 9:00 am-4pm
  • Drop-off from 8:45-9:00
  • Pick-up from 3:45-4:00

Extended care available:

Morning (8:00am–9:00am): $50/week

Afternoon (4:00pm–6:00pm): $50/week

Extended care registration is weekly to support consistent staffing.

Food & Snacks: Please pack nutritious, garbage-free snacks and lunches, plus a refillable water bottle.

Clothing & Outerwear: Campers should be dressed for 2–3 hours outdoors daily (weather permitting). Layers and winter-ready footwear are recommended.

Camp Fees: $395/week per child

🔬 Mad Science Day – March Break Camp

Get ready for a day of wild discoveries and hands-on fun! Our Mad Science Day blends creativity, curiosity, and outdoor adventure for an unforgettable camp experience.

🧪🎨 Indoor Activities

  • Water Experiments (STEM): Campers will explore the magic of molecules with experiments that reveal the science behind everyday liquids.
  • Make Your Own Bouncing Ball (Art): Mixing science and creativity, kids will craft their own colorful bouncing balls to take home—learning about polymers while getting messy and imaginative.
  • Music & Movement Class: Keeps bodies moving and minds engaged.

🌿 Outdoor Adventures (3 Hours Daily)

  • Solar System Chalk Race: Campers will blast off into a planetary relay, racing across a chalk-drawn solar system while learning fun facts about space.
  • Obstacle Course: A dynamic circuit of jumps, crawls, and balances designed to challenge coordination and teamwork.
  • Nature Weaving: Using found natural materials, campers will create collaborative weavings that celebrate texture, pattern, and the beauty of the outdoors.
  • Nature Scavenger Hunt: A sensory-rich exploration where campers search for leaves, textures, sounds, and surprises hidden in nature.

🌼Retro Fun Day

Step back in time for a day with classic games, and playful discovery. Retro Fun Day celebrates bold colors and timeless activities.

🧪🎨 Indoor Activities

  • Ball-in-Cup (STEM): Campers will build thier own ball-in-cup and there thier aim and coordination, while learning about motion and design.
  • Pop Art – Romero Britto Style (Art): Inspired by the bold, joyful work of Romero Britto, campers will create their own pop art masterpieces using bright colors, patterns, and expressive shapes.
  • Music & Movement Class: A retro-inspired dance party featuring upbeat tunes that get everyone grooving.

🌿  Outdoor Adventures (3 Hours Daily)

  • Hopscotch: A sidewalk classic
  • Sack Races (with plastic bags): Laughter and friendly competition abound as campers hop their way to victory.
  • Twister (Make Your Own with Chalk): Campers create a giant chalk Twister board and test their  coordination in this colorful outdoor game

🕵️ Detective Day – March Break Camp

Put on your thinking caps and grab your magnifying glasses—Detective Day is packed with mystery, problem-solving, and outdoor exploration. Campers will crack codes, follow clues, and uncover hidden patterns in a day full of curiosity and adventure.

🧪🎨 Indoor Activities

  • Detective Fingerprints (STEM): Campers will investigate fingerprint patterns and learn how detectives use science to solve mysteries.
  • The Case of the Missing Diamond (Escape Room): A thrilling indoor escape room challenge where campers work together to solve clues, decode puzzles, and recover the missing gem.
  • Music & Movement Class: A rhythm-packed session that brings the mystery to life.

🌿 Outdoor Adventures (3 Hours Daily)

  • Nature Detective Hunt: Campers explore the outdoors with keen eyes, searching for clues in leaves, tracks, and textures.
  • Bug Collection: A gentle exploration of the insect world—campers observe, collect, and learn about bugs in their natural habitats.
  • Footprints in Mud (Weather Dependent): If conditions allow, campers will make and measure footprints in mud, discovering shapes, patterns, and the science of impressions.

🎨 Art Explosion Day – March Break Camp

Let creativity burst in every direction! Art Explosion Day is all about color, movement, and imaginative expression. Campers will explore playful science, hands-on art, and collaborative outdoor creations.

🧪🎨 Indoor Activities

  • Thaumatropes (STEM): Campers will make their own optical illusion toys, learning the principle of persistence of vision by blending two different images into one when spun quickly.
  • Pulling String Art: A mesmerizing art activity where campers use string and paint to create vibrant, abstract designs.
  • Dance-Along or Boomwhackers Music: A music session featuring rhythm games, movement, and colorful boomwhackers.

🌿Outdoor Adventures (3 Hours Daily)

  • Make a Bug Hotel: Campers will build cozy bug habitats using natural materials, learning about biodiversity.
  • Nature Mandalas: Using leaves, petals, and stones, campers will create beautiful mandalas that celebrate symmetry and the natural world.
  • Team Games: Cooperative outdoor challenges that build connection.

🍽️ Master Chef Jr – March Break Camp

Whisk, stir, and sprinkle your way through a delicious day of hands-on learning and outdoor actvities. Master Chef Jr Day invites campers to explore the science of cooking, the art of kitchen creativity, and the joy of sharing food together.

🧪🎨 I Indoor Activities

  • Pizza Toast (STEM): Campers will experiment with ingredients and heat to create their own mini pizza toasts—learning about  food safety, and flavor combinations.
  • Kitchen Patterns (Art): Using everyday utensils like forks, whisks, and spatulas, campers create beautiful patterned artworks inspired by the textures of the kitchen.
  • Music & Movement Class: A rhythm-filled session with playful movement, and plenty of giggles.

🌿 Outdoor Adventures (3 Hours Daily)

  • Picnic Together: Campers will enjoy a relaxed outdoor picnic together.
  • Learn About the Earth and the Food It Gives Us: Through hands-on exploration and storytelling, campers will discover how soil, water, and sunlight work together to grow the foods we love.
