In this fun and interactive class, students will:
-Learn simple recipes to explore new vegetables, textures and flavours.
-Learn about food origins and the basics of urban farming.
-Explore the science of basic cooking and discover new tastes and seasonings.
-Explore the science of vegetable growing and grow their own food in our own Urban Garden.
-Communicate the importance of understanding our food and where it comes from.

Fall & Winter: Saturdays, 10:15 to 11am (45min)
Spring: Saturdays, 10:30 - 12:00 (90min)
Fees: $9 per class, paid by sessions
Fall Session A - September 25-November 20 (8 weeks, no class on Thanksgiving weekend)
Fall Session B - November 27 - December 18 (4 weeks)
Winter Session C - January 8th - March 12th (10 weeks)
Spring Session D - March 26th - June 18th (11 weeks). No classes April 16th for Easter or May 21st for Victoria Day.
