Private Music Lessons available in Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Vocal, Composition and Exam Prep. Group classes for toddlers and preschoolers are also available.
Academic Programs
Academic support for students is provided through Private Tutoring, Enrichment Classes and our Part-Time Day School.
Mindfulness Programs
Our group classes in guided yoga and meditation for children, tweens, teens and adults provide time for reflection, introspection and developing body-awareness.
Art Programs
Art and Mindfulness classes are offered for both children and adults. We also have regular special workshops in a variety of different Art mediums.
Music Programs
Oak Learners is dedicated to inspiring minds through Music Education and our Love of Music! We offer a supportive learning atmosphere, working with your child’s unique learning style to inspire their strengths and interests. Music lessons are available to learners of all ages from young to old!
Private Music Instruction
Private Music Instruction is available for all ages, children, youth and even adults. Private Music Lessons can be scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Please call or email to find a time that fits in your schedule.
Music Lessons are available in the following disciplines:

Fee Structure: 30-min lessons are $300 per 10-week session. 60-min lessons are $600 per 10-week session
Acorn Music, Movement and Creativity Classes
Children love to move, sing, dance and make music so we designed a program just for them! Acorn Music explored the fundamentals of sound through song and dance. Our Acorn Music Parent & Child Class explores sound through song and dance. Parents and children will explore sound through percussion instruments, sing-alongs and so much more!

Academic Programs
Private Tutoring
Effective learning assistance requires more than just tutoring. At Oak Learners, we offer a unique approach which blends mentoring, mindfulness and academic support to ensure the best possible outcome for your child. Private Tutoring sessions are 60 minutes in length. Students are paired with an experienced teacher for academic and learning support. Our teachers have experience working with students with learning disabilities and other exceptionalities and provide programming based on the individual needs of the students. Grades K-12, all subjects including Literacy, Math, French, Science, Homework Support, Study Skills.
Scheduling: Private Tutoring is booked individually. Session are available Monday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday.

Fee Structure: $600 per 10-week session
Kindergarten Readiness
For children aged 3-5 years. This program lays a strong foundation for a positive educational experience and a smooth transition to Kindergarten. Children may attend once or twice per week. Experienced educators spend time exploring literacy, numeracy, science and so much more with children through a natural and inquiry-based program. This program includes explores skills within:

- Literacy: phonics, writing skills through fine motor development, literature appreciation through storytelling
- Early math concepts, including numeracy and patterning
- Self-Expression and Creativity
- Building independence, self-awareness and confidence
- Cooperation and communication skills with peers
- Cognitive Skills – Memory games, science experiments, sequencing, books, musical instruments, songs and games, visit police and fire stations, finger plays.
- Gross Motor Skills – Safe area for running, jumping, climbing, swinging, sliding, riding bikes, proper use of balls and bean bags, songs and games.
Scheduling: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-11:30am
Fee Structure: 1 day per week: $350 / 2 days per week: $665 per 10-week session
Kindergarten Enrichment
At Oak Learners, children come together to create their own deep, meaningful, and enduring learning experiences. We endeavour to provide a creative and collaborative alternative learning environment which cultivates balanced critical thinkers who are prepared for a life of learning and community engagement. This program nurtures children’s natural curiosity about their world with student-centered and enriching experiences.
Program curriculum includes:
- Literacy development

- Hands-on learning experiences
- 21st century learning skill development, including critical thinking, collaboration and leadership
Scheduling: Saturdays, 10:30-12:00
Fees: $300 per 10-week session
Homework Club
A space for students in Grades 6 through 12 to complete their homework or projects and study for upcoming tests under the guidance of a teacher. The teacher helps students with motivation, study skills and organization. Choose to attend 1, 2 or 3 days per week.
Scheduling: Wednesdays, 3:30-5:30
Fees: $350 per 10-week session
Junior Scientists Club
Eureka! Our Junior Scientists will explore the world around them through a variety of hands-on experiments and inquiries. It’s a weekly experience of discovery and wonder! (Ages 5-10)
Scheduling: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm or Saturdays, 1:00pm-2:00pm
Fees: $300 per 10-week session
Art Programs
Calm Your Heart Through Art
Each class introduces a new art project which helps relax the mind and body. Paired with relaxing and inspiring music, attendees can use these new skills at home as a form of self-regulation. (Ages 6-9yrs)
Scheduling: Tuesdays, 6-7pm or Saturdays, 2-3pm
Fee Structure: $300 per 10-week session
Mindfulness & Yoga Programs
Guided Meditation for Adults and Older Teens (16+)
Everyone is invited to join us for this weekly meditation which assists in removing barriers in thinking, reducing stress, assists in healthier problem solving and greater creativity.
Scheduling: Thursdays, 7:30-8:30
Fee Structure: $125 per 10-class session or $15 drop-in fee
