Arts & Culture Variety Camp (Ages 4-8)

March 11-15, 2019

Every day during March Break Camp will be themed, and all activities will be related to that theme. A typical day for all campers includes a morning meditation with yoga elements, fun arts, drama and musical activities throughout the day, and an outdoor adventure trip to a local park or nature trail in the afternoon.

Young Leaders of Tomorrow Camp (Ages 9-12)

Attention leaders and change-makers! Have you ever wanted to inspire other and/or make significant changes in your school or community? Does your child have an interest in making an impact on our local ecology or political issues?

This camp is an exciting mix of hands-on activities and outdoor exploration, while learning a lot about advocacy and leadership. Student will explore positive expressions for outreach, including debate, speech writing and club leadership while also learning more about issues they are passionate about.

A typical day for the Youth Leadership Camp attendees includes a morning meditation with yoga elements, an outdoor adventure trip to a local park or nature trail in the afternoon and time to work on their camp-specific projects throughout the day. On Thursday, campers will embark on a field trip (TBA) that has been selected to foster experiential learning and increase their understanding of the elements that have been learned. At the end of the week, campers will have a positive conservation ethic, an increased awareness of the environment and a wealth of ideas for how they can make changes in their own lives.

Camp runs from 9am-4pm (Note: Extended hours are available, if needed, for an additional $10 fee.)

Healthy snacks are provided. Please bring a nutritious, waste-free lunch, a reusable water bottle and appropriate footwear for walking, as there are elements of outdoor exploration.

Ages: Ideal for campers aged 4-8

Cost: $350 (includes 5-day program and snacks)
