It is with great pride that we share our exciting news with you!

Oak Learners is now a fully registered not-for-profit organization, enabling us to provide increased support  and expanding programming to the vibrant families in and around our neighbourhood.

We believe every child, no matter their ability and/or disability is capable and will be successful when they belong to a supportive and inclusive educational community, our mission; to inspire creativity, foster technique and encourage confidence.

With effect from September 2017, Oak Learners will be operating a full-time and part-time alternative day school through which we work with each child’s unique learning style to enrich their strengths and support their challenges. After school enrichment in the areas of arts, music, academics and mindfulness will continue and have been expanded to include art and music therapy. Registration for September 2017 is now open and ongoing.

With this expansion, comes the need for more space. Oak Learners is relocating on July 1st, remaining in the heart of Mimico Village, to 394 Royal York Road, a mere half-block away (steps to San Remo’s – likely to our Parents delight!), this much larger and brighter space gives us the opportunity to increase our day-time and after school classes.

We hope you will join us at our Open House on Saturday, July 8th from 2 – 4 pm and get to know how we are growing to service you better.

Mindfulness and self-expression remain at the heart of our Centre, as well as the core belief that ‘it takes a village’!
